Mythos Schmerz
Between Science and Perception.

"A danger well-known is a danger less agonizing". Based on this quote the exhibition "Mythos Schmerz – Mystic Pain" tries to explore different types of pain and their course through the body. It aims on opening up the scientific and social dimension of chronic pain to a broader public. Two different methods of visualisation were developed trying to illustrate both – the rational and emotional side of pain.
